Nice clean diner. Our food was good, except my fries were cold. I should have asked for some warm ones, but I we were in a hurry. The place is clean and tidy and the wait staff are super nice.

Great service, we could use a little bit louder music in the dining area, its so quiet! But this food was absolutely amazing and all we had was a cheeseburger and some to die for strawberry cake!!!! Definitely worth it!

I live near this place but this was only my second time eating here. It was great the first time and even better this second time. I took family who were visiting from Iowa and they raved about it. My 23 year old son is a cheeseburger expert. Without anyone even asking, he announced to the waitress that his double cheese burger was the best he has ever had. High praise! I asked why and he said the beef was excellent quality, the bun was fresh and the cheese was melted just right. It was so good he took a picture to send to his pals back in Iowa. So there you go! Wonderful staff. I need to go more often!!

Wow! When all else fails, listen to the folks at the milling company store! They said, "want a great plate of food? Go to the "Home plate" one block or so North on 77 from the main street in Davis. They weren't kidding. We loved it from the time we walked in, it was literally appealing, welcoming and the staff did not let us down! Outstanding catfish dinner! Be back next week!

We were looking for somewhere new to eat and google led us to Home Plate Diner. It was AMAZING! The catfish was the best I've ever had and the hamburger patties are seasoned in house. 100/10 recommend. Will definitely be going back!
